I am a true Cornish girl who loves everything about our amazing county and the great produce on offer.
I started working as a chef back in 1992 at the Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage. Since then I have worked at various top class establishments around Cornwall’s rustic coastline.
I took three years out of the kitchen to manage a local fishmongers – an invaluable experience to get hands on with some of the best fish in the world!
Being married to a Cornish farmer, I can’t get away from my love of good, free-range, Cornish beef, lamb and pork. I use two amazing local butchers who are able to tell me the exact farm and location of their produce and their quality of life.
The cheese from Cornwall is second to none and indeed Cornwall is home to many great award winning cheeses, one of my favourites being the ‘Wild Garlic Yarg’.
I absolutely adore catering for weddings. From initial conversations with the soon-to-be-weds to being a part of the happiest day of their lives, I find the whole process exhilarating and I’m always honoured to be chosen to be a part of such a special event. Every couple comes with different ideas and styles, giving me the opportunity to constantly evolve, explore and delight.
My promise to all my clients is spectacular looking food that tastes even better.
